I know how ya feel. I've been out of it for over a week and a half so far. My fishing is done for this year. Just hard to resign myself to it.

know what ya mean there 2. I hope to be back to work by turkey day. Not many people want a carpenter wearing an eye patch and pumped up on meds. If it was work related I could get comp or collect but I don't think it is. I'll get my test results tomorrow and know where I stand.

Sucks gettin' old guys, ya get more fragile and then your bod starts pullin' jokes on ya. Last winter was my worst , slipped and fell down the stairs. That was good for two weeks of wining and gimping. Then I got vertigo. Had a 2 bottle Jack Daniels buzz for a month only without the Jack. THAT really sucked. When I went to the Plug HoeDown I was still under the effects and was asked in the parking lot if the bar was open Yeah geezerness is gonna be fun.... Get well soon Dave, both of ya!

Got to agree Dave. bouncing down the trail in the truck, walking atround in uneven wet chopped up sand, in waders, cold damp air, all that would be like slamming any progress you've made in reverse, and might make you worse off than you were!

Rest, think non-fishy thoughts.

yeah, they are out there, but if you do go, try the back yard, the front yard is full of 5 pounders , some that got stuck in the backyard during the blow, are bigger, but finicky.
dress warm, i caught cold
