Canal 10.31.04
Hit the Big Ditch this morning w/ Tony O we got to pole 666 @ 03:35 there was stiff west winds mist of rain but sesonaly warm.First cast I heard fish breaking I thought this ought to be a good outing, well not one hit for about 20 minutes, it was a small Bass just over 30"gut hooked. So i chaulked it up for the table. After that it was an hour of nottin.
Moved to the Cape side found a real crappy spot, the spot we wanted was ocuppied so we attempted to drift eels in a differnt local but it was a real crappy spot.we didn't want to walk much further so we ended up jigging for a while. There was alot of birds but not much surface activity.I got lucky & managed a Med size blue & the lil bastard got the best of me.
I think the might be it for me.

Was down there on saturday from 3 till 11pm, and i got the skunk, i couldnt believe it. I got 4 takes on eels but noth8ing to show for it. I saw one guy catch a close to keeper but that was it. But it was gorgeous out there. It had to be close to 60. I saw more seals surfacing than bass, depressing
