Killing Bass in NJ

Just spoke to a buddy who lives in Central Jersey. They had a super day today from shore. Lot of fish in the 20 to 25# range.

No boat, back in the suds.

That's what I heard also. My guys told me that the Bass were right in the first curl and were all 20+. All on big swimmers. Must have been Ocean Herring coming in close.

No boat, back in the suds.

I'm happy for the Jersey crew. They get a shot of fish in the spring then it becomes a struggle through the summer and fall. They deserve any fish they get this time of year.

Big Fish

I was stupid fishing yesterday. Macs plugs murdered the fish yesterday, people where asking "were'd you get that yellow pikie". My largest was only 19lbs, but fish up to 25lbs around the area. Today the same action started this morning. The fish were moving north and then the action slowed down. This seems to be our fall run.

Tight lines,
Eric
