I played with my own toys tonight, because the rubba supply was getting low. This pic shows tonights rewards for 1 hour and 45 minutes of mad scientist playtime . Approximately 80 baits, with a mix of my own 7" split tail eel, 7" sluggo want-a-be and the lurecraft 9" sluggo conterpart. When you figure each bait this batch around was a melt down and came out super sweat and will catch me about 2-3 fish per bait, you can see why I love my rubba.
I'm bringing some to the plug swap , because I do like a nice plug from time to time, kind of like a fine wine....lol. Who'd be interested in a trade.

This close ups for you BM, seems like the color this melt down came out might be something you'd like. Hard to tell, but the top layer is the melt down of my favorite smoke top (green-red-blue-black glitter) with a clear (silver glitter) bottom. The bottom layer is actually a small batch of new plastic with some silver glitter and some shad scent, which puts just a little yellow color in the plastic. The top melt down came out close to olive, so it's olive over a pale yellow........ .

I answer your pms Tattoo when there is a question. Take off your skirt. I'll still test that one for you Tattoo.
Bob, I lost 2 of those baits tonight but not till after a few slams from fish.
I am really bummed that I lost my Mike Fixter needle 1 3/8 oz. really bummed. I stopped fishing for 10 minutes while I mourned the loss

How do you make the lip for the swimming plugs? Out of sheetmetal? If so where do you purchase the sheetmetal. I am new at making swimmers.
