I liked your little slope headed one that you had at plugfest, I am not sure if that was the lefty one or not... It inspired me to start a batch of small stuff too. Mine are 4 and 1/2 " but they will be using pikie 1.

Seems like everything I make wants a pikie1 or 2... Now I gotta order more lips...

by shaving the sides it removes some of the roll. The one you saw is a copy of a small lefty. It has a lefty1 lip with the middle slot

That's what I'm talking about Dave. Killer plug in NJ when the peanuts show. Perfect size and weight. I like the really big eye one.

Tight lines,
Eric

U don't need to go small when peanuts are in i mostly throw big plugs an score better than most..as a outsized bait I think makes it easier for the bass to key on with the the millions of 3-5 inch baits in the water.I rarely through anything smaller than a 6 inch Danny I love some of the customs Like newellys an Bassmaster's I have a yellow BM danny got alot of fish on it.also a Atom 40 works real well for me.Its all about the action.now my little secret is out.Big plugs get me out past the bar alot of times the better fish will not venture inside the bar in the daytime.at least it has been my experience. In addition those plugs have no eye's.so the7y are blind an swim right into the fish's mouth.they never know what hit em.
