Great Time Had By All At MSBA Banquet
S-Bass.com was well represented at last nights MSBA Banquet with many members in attendance. I tried to photograph as many as possible but could not get them all. Folks like S-Journey were there (he took a sweet 2nd Place in the Boat Striper category at 38 pounds  ) Baitcaster and Fisherwoman were there as was BEETLE (who took a good natured ribbing over the "mammoth" gorilla blue he caught and weighed  ) Fishermom and Fishchick were there too  as were the FishingFreaks! Here are some pics of the folks I did capture!

Also with what has become a fun side bet between BasicPatrick and myself (so far I have come up short the last 2 years  ) we bet on who will take the biggest striper in the club for the season...boat guys or surf guys!  Surf guys lost but it was close....but as most of you know.... boat fish don't count! Patrick says..."Show me the money BigFish"!

Many members like to show their love for the sport of fishing.... well....Van was no exception last night as he came decked out in his new "Trout on the town" hat!  Sweet lid there Van! To his right is his fishing mentor and son Jimmy who hauled some nice hardware home himself!

Can anyone guess who this handsome guy is????  Yup! Its Raider Leo with his Dad Raider Ron! Come to find out through a reliable source, Ron wears Raider underoos too!

Lastly...here is the new Stan Gibbs Memorial Award. This is a joint award between MSBA and MBBA that was instituted this past season. It is for the annual casting competition between the clubs each season being held at alternating club outings each season. Just so the MBBA guys know where it is, here is a picture of it spending its first season at the MSBA club.....MSBA won it in MBBA's "house" which was sweet to say the least! See you MBBA guys in June at the MSBA outing when they will have a shot at winning it back!
Pretty nice piece of hardware though, huh guys? I think Stan would approve.

It surely was a great time had by all. I was eyeing the BigFish jointed mac from the minute I got there  ... It was just destiney, it was calling to me-"Put me in your surf bag" Congads to BasicPatrick, with a very well deserved award....A big thanks to MSBA, what a great group of fisherpeoples
BF is a hellofva craftsman, he makes some shweet pluggage, gonna be a shame to get them wet, but I gotta
