scooped out eyes?

Here's something ive been tryin to figure out for a while now but just cant get it, what do you guys use to get those scooped out areas around eyes, like in BigFish's surfsters? :-}

You can use a 1/2 in V groove router bit in your drill press. Set the speed as high as it will go to get a smooth cut.

I do use a rouer bit....also many kinds of grinding balls and rasps. I drill the eye hole deep and then use the router bit to bevel it.....then sand it nice and smooth with some 220 grit, just a couple of passes and done.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
