[1] last year I fished one night with G/S [we] had a disagreement with a guy with a spear gun ////When we got to BoB<s truck /he had a sliced tire / 2.5 hours later & $200 light we went home ;;;

[2] Fished with BOb again [day] we got back to the ramo Pulled his rig out & I went to get my truck -== a cop pulls in front of me /blocking me in //I just waited ,figuring he had something he had to do -----I was @#$%^%^ right / he gave me a parking ticket / for [[not]] having a trailer :::

[3] 5:30 am going to meet G/S for a fun day on the water // no other cars /on the road // cop going in the opposite direction /he makes the swing and pulls me over // he,s cocky .i,m polite /he ask ,s where am I going & why no seat belt // I said to meet my friend at the ramp & I just got a blowout /changed it ,hopped in the truck /no belt ====================== 15 minutes later he gives me the full barrel ==$280.00 / I take the ticket ,throw it up on the dash & say nothing ,the A##hole walks about 5 feet away & turns & says [ ya have a great day fishing ]]

[4] today I go by myself /only a couple on trailers in the lot // real windy // come back // load the rig & come home /I go to take the rig off the truck & someone smashed my handle right off the trailer jack wheel assembly ######

That town sucks,their cops suck, there boat ramp sucks /but there fishing is great

feel your pain...
We were working (are working) at Chatham/Pleasant Bay.... trailered up our tin workboat 7 pr 8 times in the past year for a survey that takes ~2hrs and only at dead spring low...
1 of the times the old decrepid motor wouldnt start, missed our tide window... some repair work and it was ready
Another time we got it started after changing plugs (again) and almost missed our window, and only did half the survey cause I couldnt shut the boat off and work...
1 time it was so foggy we couldnt see the end of the ramp... went fishing off the beach instead and then so not a wasted day
The last time we took that boat up there the entire coil on the head shattered... since its a 20yr 'rude we said f'it brought the boat back, got smart and found a local who lets us use his spiffy 13ft whaler with a 4stroke...

FINALLY we took the F'ing hint (we geologists are a stubborn lot....)

place aint worth it...wicked negative vibes! ...cocky cops....a holes with spear guns.... slashed tires, sounds positively evil.... might have to travel with holy water ,strings of garlic, melted silver crosses made into bullets...and wooden stakes.
