Been a While, RELENTLESS Report

Good Morning,

It has been quite a while since I have been able to get on the board here being underway fishing aboard RELENTLESS and the CG job. Cod and haddock fishing continues to be excellent most days witht the occasional bad day thrown in. On Wednesday we fished with the Dewitt Sagendorph party from Staatsburgh, Ny and had a great day catching legal limits of cod down off Peaked Hill Bar. Abundant amounts of bait (herring mackeral and sand eels) was on the machine and the fish hit both jigs and bait. The seas were calm and it was an excellent day witht he group stating they wanted to make it an annual event.

On Friday we conducted a mixed party (open boat charter) with individuals from MA to NJ and went to Peaked Hill Bar again. After getting about eight legal fisha nd a lack of bait on the machine, we headed offshore and slammed the haddock taking over 60 very large fish providing a ton of fillets. We did notice the dogs are starting to arrive in large numbers already. We cancelled this Sat and Sun trip due to weather and will haul out on Monday for a week or so to take care of tpainting the bottom and some other maintenance.

Summer is coming and we are now booking bass trips fishing over to Peaked Hill Bar and Race Point, tuna and shark trips and of course our cod and haddock fishing will continue throughout the season. I have a feeling this is going to be a great season with the school bluefin tuna which is a ball on stand up gear. Please send me an e-mail directly at captave@nauticaladventure.net if you are interested in getting out on a charter out of Green Harbor in Marshfield, MA.

Have a greart day and make the best out of the weather forecasted for the week.

Respectfully,

Captain Dave Waldrip
