Plexiglass Cleaner
Can anyone recommend a product to clean Plexiglass? Need something to take on the boat.

If its real plexiglass only use soap and water and be very careful with it, it scratches very easily.

hi pressure fresh water from hose when you get back to the dock or what mike said. It scratches very easily!!!

plexi glass shop
worked in one....for a time...its the density of oak and cuts slow on the table saw to prevent splinters /cracking... if it hasnt turned white from the sun...
it may be buffed out again to look clear (maybe). we always used a rag and some lite alcohol to remove excess adhesive from the paper backing or solvent used in the bonding process.

polish dont wash
We have some plexy windows on machine shop equipment and it cannot be cleaned without scratching. We use aluminum oxide (polishing compound) to clean and polish it. AL-OX is used as a metal polish also.
Years ago I did this on my old MFG with a plexy windshield, worked great. Easy for me cause I have access to metal polishing compounds here at work.
