Block Island Stripers

Any stripers on the Block this time of year?

I was gonna head out there and do some surf casting probably from the south shore. I dont want to take the time if they've already come and gone or arent around this time of year.

We usually toss eels/plugs and chunks in the meantime.

Any information or opinions you have on the Block this time of year would be greatly appreciated. Also could meet up with anyone planning the same type of trip, share info & techniques if it works out.
