Fish_Eye: Say It Ain't So!

When I talked to Tattoo a while ago he told me he was going to the East Bay Anglers seminar in Barrington.

Now it turns out he's gonna be PART of the show.

Geez, Fish-Eye, don't ya think some folks might be frightened?

I wasn't sure my video presentation would be a big enough hit...I went with the sure thing...Everyone likes a freak show.

I was just trying to do my part and "Get a freak back to work!"
see attached http://webusers.anet-stl.com/~civil/...roduction.html

Oh Tattoo, I understand Alan James Robinson will be attending!

GB - Welcome to Striped-Bass!! Another fellow Rho Dyslanduh?

How is the East Bay show you ask? I dunno, this is the first year that I'm going to be there. But I do know that a few of the "events" are certainly worth seeing.

Yes there is room for two. If you are going to the East Bay show maybe I will see you there.Have not used eels before and would like to learn how.Got a Penn intl. 965 for xmass and a custom rod from CMS to match.Had good luck pluging in old spots and would like to try casting eels in some of these holes.

stillwater plugs

Have you tried stillwater plugs yet I found them at Buckos in Fall River this fall and had great luck with them. The popper is great it is a floter and casts a mile. I had days that they would hit nothing else.I have done lots of pluging off Cuttyhunk as I spent lots of my summers there as a young fisherman but have not had the time to fish or go to the island for years but now feel it is time to make time to fish more LOTS more.

Welcome aboard, GB -

See what ya did, now you've got yourself 50 deckhands - just try to not get these guys (myself included) too wound up with Cuttyhunk stories - at this time of year that's not hard to do anyway.

It's a great spot here, you'll like it - John's got a good crew here.

Your right and can,t wait for spring to start fishing it all over again. But my biggest striper was not cought there it was a 48# cought in padarnaram harbor in 1973. We can,t all fit in the boat at once but I will be happy to have a few GOOD fisherman along to help gaf the big ones.

GB - you were still dealing in the same pool of fish - if you have a mild case of the sniffles, you'll find 100 or so here offerin' a Kleenex for shot to be first mate for a day at Cuttyhunk. No bashfull souls here.

Sandman had us all worked up a couple months ago when he was surfcasting that little island, I still drool occasionally... We were also tossing an idea about of getting a few of us together and surf fishing it....

Here was the thread we had going back then: http://www.striped-bass.com/vbulleti...ight=cuttyhunk

Were you confident with your boat in those waters? I'm toying with the idea of a boat too TO SUPLEMENT my surf fishing (I can see me getting yelled at by a bunch of people now). That is in the range of what I'm considering, more specifically: center consoles from 19-23 feet, like an old Seacraft (Billboy - i GOTS to check out your boat sometime & get some inspiration) or Mako or something new like a Seaswirl/H-sport/Triumph with enough decent deadrise... That area is one of the areas that I intend to boatfish and I want a boat that is safe (all things relative) in a snot SW running through...
