This sucks..I wonder how it will effect the fishing? i won't be eating any bass in near future from here!

It's for sure going to affect the eating! There are significant amounts of heavy metals in treated sewage, nevermind the raw crap (pun intended). Those, combined with other toxins, can kill the fish outright or just make them darn unsafe to eat. Also adding to the defishification factor of the spill is that the overload of nutrients causes accelerated growth of plants and bacteria. Even if the water doesn't quite reach "algal bloom" status, the biological oxygen demand (BOD) will increase greatly, and fish will leave the area for places with more available oxygen. Ya may want to find another place to fish for a bit. Or wear rubber gloves... It's one thing to come home with fish hands, a whole other to bring home some nice E. coli.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.
