The 50 pounder was caught by a commercial guy off the Annisquam Yacht Club on a whole dead herring... Bait's been better than plugs and tin from what I have heard. Night time better than daytime. I've lost two nice ones at night. I was using a black over purple bomber. I think I don't know how to fight these bigger fish.... :-( Rocks seem to be doing better than the beaches.

Herring, rocks with wash, beginning of falling tide. No blues , all bass. Patience.
