Missed a big one!

Left the house this morning around 9 and as I was walking out the back door I could see the birds working a huge school.Working on the truck was priority though so didn't check it out.Got back around 1 and still could see birds working.By the time I got down to the water...nothing around.Talked to two guys there and nothing but big blues and bass for hours on end.Fished for about an hour not even a follow.

Bummer.

Not this morning!

Lotsa big blues with some bass underneath.

A blue for the smoker and a 31" bass for the grill.

Hey - what are the buggers eating that they shouldn't?

Silversides and peanuts.

With the good comes the bad of course. Was fishing to the left and went back out after the race and lost an absolute slob and my trusty blurple mambo to one of the dozen lobster/fish pots that've showed up recently. I was able to pull that damn pot almost halfway to shore before my effin line snapped.

What I don't understand is how these a$$holios can put these freakin things so close to the damn shore, especially down there!

I'm in full freak mode right now!Thank god Jane isn't around me right now because I think I'd scare her!I'm ready to freakin snap!

Dammit that mambo is the one I lost and snagged two hours later a few weeks ago.It had mojo.I'm goin down there at dead low tomorrow and it better be hooked in that pot's rope.
