Someone at work asked me if I had heard of these reels, did a quick internet search they make suposedly waterproof coventionals.. not sure how they cast etc.. but pretty cool idea
Anyone have/used one?

Yep, I bought a 6/12 last year that I'm using for codfishins and striped bass this year. Great little reel. Chris, Tunatoys,One of the guys on Noreast designs their reels for them.
