If theres giant squid maybe theres a giant Bass swimmin out there.I here these squid can go a few rounds with some large whales.That would be some $$$ footage.

Here's something I don't understand about the search for the giant squids:

Scientists say they are huge, 40 to 50 feet or more.
We can imagine the size (and power!) of the beak of such a creature.
They have been known to attack Sperm whales!
And we know that in general squids are attracted to light.

So is it really smart to go down thousands of feet in a (relatively) fragile submersable brimming with lights to find such a creature?
