Don't they hafta actually MAKE the playoffs before they can do any of the above?

Theres a bunch of scenario's win and in even if they dont beat the Detroit Lions next week they could still get in, pretty pathetic how the Pats lock up there playoff spot when a team could go 11-5 and not get in when yours coud have gone 9-7 and still get in I dont see an upset, Detroit in Heinz and the Steelers playing great football in all phases as of late, they have beat on the last 2 teams on a roll and smacked down the Browns Saturday.
