what's with this greedy sob? wants out of boston so so badly...his wife did'nt the idea of him have a girlfreind here and wants to move. seems manny the 10/5 guy will only accept a trade to baltomore if they pick up his 2 option years at 20 mil per. what an incredible piece of greedy chit! i hope he blows out both knees!( oh yeah he does'nt run so make that both rotator cuffs )

I think the sox should just tell him they are trying but if they can't(and they shouldn't) reach a trade, he must play here or not be paid.
I think they are better off with Manny than without him, but if he plays like a dog, I say bench him. but what the hell do I know about baseball  |

What nobody is talking about is a massive breach of contract law suite.

Slips right. Manny's under contract here and he's going to play here. They tried to trade him but the market for a $20 million a year player is gone. So he will continue to play here, be a hero to most and put up some hall of fame numbers all while getting paid huge.
It makes me sick to see the Sox trade away the future. Stick with Manny and his baggage. Sometimes the enemy you know is better than the enemy you don't.
