ESPN Sportscenter - Travis Roy

Guys-

I caught a special that ESPN did on Travis Roy, the BU hockey player who was injured in his first hockey game and is now a quadraplegic.

It was an excellent piece, but very sad.

If you get a chance, have a look at it. How can I have a bad day after seeing that, it makes me feel very grateful to say the least.

Was it a recent special or the one from a few years back?

Hi John-

It was new, bringing us up to date on what has taken place in the years since the accident.

Brutally sad, his father can still barely speak about it, it just kills him. I cannot imagine what that family's life has been like since then. Like I said, it made me feel very grateful to be able to walk to the fridge and then shower in my own without round the clock health aids in my home.....
