Kayak fishing

I mainly fish eels slow drifting from my kayak, with the possible shortage of eels or a ban does anyone know of a plastic lure that moves like an eel? any help would be greatly appreciated...

I can think of a nice plastic lure that looks like an eel. What was it called?

You might try moving this to the main forumto get a better response. I would suggest fishing plastics such as a sluggo or other plastics like you would in freshwater. The benefit of the kayak is that you can get in tight to places other boats can't. You could try plastic with a weighted jighead and just drift over structure and bounce your lure along.

Joe at surfcasting-ri has pre-rigged and weighted slug-gos on his site or all the stuff to rig them yourself too.

I'm planning on trying a wobble head with an 8" black grub to immitate an eel. Slow trolling a tube and worm is usually my best producer.
