Manning is not a big game quarterback! Sure he could have had better protection but did you see his nervous feet? Anytime he gets pressured he flips out like he read the "Tony Eason Book Of Quarterbacking"! He does himself no favors either by standing pat in the pocket instead of trying to free himself up a bit by moving around a little more! Sorry to say it but I don't ever see him winning it all! He just sat there and let the pocket close in on him almost the entire day!
