I hear ya, I wet a line a few weeks ago in my winter jacket. Stopped when my fingers couldn't tie any more. I got some pretty good looks.

that is funny, the only people out on the beach this time of year seem to be dog walkers and obsessive surfcasters. A couple of weeks ago I was walking the beach on PI and I must have seen a friggin' million dogs, don't even get me started on singing beach...

At least you went to the beach. I was surfcasting big wood and rubber 75 miles up the Merrimack River (beyond 3 dams). I took some new toys out for a swim and got the look from some guys with ultralite rods looking for trout.

I looked again, so it isn't!
I thought that the little bend by the head was just how it was placed on the ground, but looking again I see that it is the design of the thing.
you guys are tricky bastages! What the hell is that thing????
