Ye Olde annual garbage grump

Took a walk to down to my local fishing spot to take a few casts and enjoy the sun.Guess it was a good thing I brought the contractor size garbage bag with me!

I musta picked up close to fifty individual shoes.Mostly the soles from women's shoes and baby sized hiking boots. And of course aluminum cans and plastic water bottles.Filled a 39gal. size bag and I could easily walk back down and fill another one.

Didn't find one plug.

Those were most likely from the barge that went down 10 years or so ago...

I have a funny and spooky story about those shoes

That's what I kinda figured afterwards. Most was falling out of shear eroded banks up by the brush line.Shoes must've been buried for awhile.

I went back down after the race and took a few more casts and filled another bag with cans and bottles. One more go around and things should be looking pretty decent. My girlfriend and I plan on doing a full sweep from end to end next weekend.
