Lets make it interesting
I propose we set up a prize pot for the winner with donated stuff. Winner takes all. I will start by throwing in 2 Brand new white bucktail jigs.

..."supposedly" ....my mechanic is working on getting me wet soon.....so, I'd like to add my name also
....just in case things don't work out, would it be Ok.. If I trailered my boat as close as I could to the ocean and just casted from inside the boat.....isn't that still considered catching it from a boat......even though its drydocked?!!!.....

I suggest a donated prize pool earlier, just to make it interesting, so my offer still stands. I'll donate some plastic if this is accepted by the tournament committee .

OK..Prize pool sounds good, but GS can be incharge of that and he can referee the fight if theres a tie . Some rubba and bucktails, I'll throw in a jar of SCOTCH BONNET SALSA from B.F.Clydes cider mill in Conn.(awesome salsa!!!!).

Hey I'm not sure you want me in charge of anything , plus I've got way too much on my plate as it is. I'll gladly donate, but I've got no spare time for collecting and running a price give away. Where's the boss? Hey boss man?

Thats what I'm saying. Its a good idea, but whos gonna organize the prize pot, cause I barely have fishing time. If those who suggest it want to run with it, thats great. I'm just trying to organize a little competitve tourney for the boat guys - not trying to be the "boss".

I would like to get in on this.
I will weigh my fish at another shop unless I have another Member present to witness the weigh in.

Since I brought it up I will organize the reuslts and award the prizes. the best way will be to have the prize providers mail them direlctly to the winner..agreed?

The prize pot sounds good, I'll find something to throw in as well. Is there someone we can send the goods to or will we hold the stuff off till the end of the tourney and send/give the winner his loot.

I like a lot of these ideas and can throw in a few things too. As far as prizes in the pot, people can give things to me as we run into each other over the season and get a good stash going... I've been wanting to add more to this conversation but haven't had much time in front of the PC lately (believe it or not ) but hope to do more in the near future...

I haven't posted much because I've been in school up in boston all year, but summer is coming and I'll be fishing (from my boat) a lot in the coming weeks, so if its cool with you guys, i'd like to join as well.
