I think he's referring to the fact that he's hitting below .200--the so-called Mendoza line.
I see he also has a big fat bagel for dingers so far, and is sporting a really bad dye job on those Jeri curls

He'll come around and still end the season with his huge usual numbers...must be pretty comfortable behind big papi.

I recall hearing the same nonsense last year around this time.At the end of the year he'll still have around 35 HR's and 125 RBI's.Is he worth the $$,no.Is he one of the greatest hitters of his era,the numbers don't lie.First ballot inductee no questions asked.

He certainly pulls some stunts. Using the green monster as his personal head comes to mind. I remember Yaz taking his fair share of criticism as well and still wish more people played the game how he did.

Bigcat,Earth to Bigcat. To say no team wanted Manny sounds like girls talking sports.Eight years in a row at 30+ and 100+ is a player any team WANTS.Coming up with the ching is a different story entirely. An all-star every year since the trade and World Series MVP to boot. How quickly we forget.

20 million a year, no one wants him for that money.
Fact. The Sox have been trying to unload him for THREE seasons.
Fact. He was put on wavers and was not claimed.
Fact. Once you are put up on waivers you can be claimed by any team.
