Canal Tonight

I was thinking of heading to the CC Canal tonight. Has anyone had any luck down there recently?

Hey Greg. Finally got around to joing the site eh? Welcome. Gonna give the Spheros and the new Fenwick a go? The Canal is probably a good bet right now. Maybe a hit or miss, but should be consistant any day now. Go get 'um. Good luck.

Dress warm. The east wind has been laying down after dusk, but it will still be in the low 40s tonight.

There are schoolies to be had. Downsize your lures. If you want to try to stick a keeper, you might want to try the Agawam or Weweantic instead.

Dam cold at the ditch - east wind is not quitting. Many smallies in the ditch. Need another week or so. If riding a canal glider be sure to start into the wind or you will never make it back to the stating line. The wind will stop you dead in the path and tire you right out.
