Quanny Pond Casting Clave, May 6th

We will have on a the first Sat morning in May.

Big parking lot, water, easy to get to lots of room and it won't be full of boaters because it is before labor day. There will also be fishing available. Maybe we can do some Two hander stuff just to spice things up a bit. And a fly swap perhaps you bring yours and trade with others?
Get the season off to a good start. Good kayak spot too. Maybe you can bring your kayak and take a look at how others have rigged out theirs.

As a note*
We had a rod that was labeled as a nine weight at the last tune up. Look at your lablel.

It ws a very high priced rod from a noted manufacturer.

The rod would not cast well until we put a 15 wt. line on it and then it purred like a kitten.
This is not about modern casting theory it is about getting the job done in the real world so you can fish in peace this year.

There will be a grille for hot dogs and hamburgers.
No money at all.
It is for free.
Bring your kids and grandchildren.
Women are welcome.
