Tony;
Check around Job Lot or something..
I've bought a few cheap sets of PVC rainwear for fall blackfish season there and just chuck em when they are done..
Not sure if they have Kids sizes, but worth a look.....

Tony,

The junior grundens are pretty good. Got them for both my kids a couple years ago. Reasonable price and not so heavy they can't move. They are a slightly lighter material then the mens. My largest kid (13 now) is growing out of them this year but the next kid is growing into them. They worked out well. It cuts the wind and spray. Wear a fleece under them a pair of rubber boots and they are set.
(I got them thru my local shop who ordered them direct and he gave me a pretty good price (can't recall what it was but I remember I was happy with it)

Here is the little guy:

Thumbs up

Awesome spring tog catch!

Most times the simple kind of fishing can be a lot of fun. No pressure just fun fishing outdoors with your kid. It is hard to fit in fishing in kids lives today. With school and sports and all the "stuff" that goes on at home, weather, illness, homework, work, etc. I try to fit it in when we can. I don't push them into it that much. Usually when they see me connect, they want to come the next trip.

I am pushing like mad to get out after this weather breaks...looks like next week now. Blowing 40 and raining sideways out here now.

Thanks N2N. How true is that Jim(more then a thread I bet) spending time with either your own or someone elses defines qaulity time. Funny how they tell you details that you didn't relize ...its also like reliving your own childhood. My son is still small enough that I can hold he his hand while steaming and being asked 101 ??'s feels pretty dam good.
