Herring Pattern?

Many seem to have different opinions on what their idea of a "herring pattern" is. Just curious what many of you plug efficianados think? Never seen a herring with pink, blue coloring as I see it on many plugs but that seems to be the theme. Opinions?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Larry,

I like Olive top with blue hue... little gold and a little silver with a pearl belly.... brown hues around the eyes and a brown spot on the side. I don't like that cotton candy color... doesn't look like a herring at all to me

I agree much more gold and brown than I see in most plugs. Don't forget the chameleon lilac. Here is a great site to see some up close in natural habitat.
