Point Jude gets Gold Metal

This is the new 2 oz. Gold Butterfish from Point Jude Lures. Gold works very well in dirty water and low light conditions. It tested well in the field this year on Long Island and will complement any surf bag nicely.

The company is actually about 60 years old. This is my second full season as the owner .I basically had to start from scratch making all new molds from the existing established lures and a few innovations of my own (with valued input from some savvy surfcasters) .

Not sure about the Sept one ,but I am planning on being at the MSBA Plugfest in Aug. There are many Pt Jude tins out there that I haven't seen yet ,they seem to pop up everytime there is a gathering of fishermen. I tried to pick the ones that have good action and that mimic bait profiles of what we have. I'll say one thing for the for-runners , they took their time designing these tins with detail and swimming action.

Dave I had just dropped off a dozen on the counter when you were there! Big fish talk over rules lure talk every time though ,no wonder it didn't come up. Nice fish again!
