Oh boy! Mikey and I got attacked by an eagle...I got attacked by a seagull.
Caught us some good fish, though.

Really cool guys. I can't believe how big that sucker is.

Though if there is some crazy enviromentalist out there, with that pic of you feeding the eagle, you could get some serious fines. If so, you might want to get that pic off a public forum. Just a heads up since I hate to see anyone get in trouble.

I wasn't reely feeding it. Just looks like it in the picture. That pile of bluefish guts was from some commercial guy. My camera has all of the fish pics, and it's on the fritz. Go figure.

I think the eagle was attracted to my "I Love Jugs," bumper sticker.
Couldn't believe it, so much fun.
Later on in the day, I was th only one on the beach that caught a keepa, thank god for the yak.
Later,
Rick

Too bad you had to leave early. The next morning much nicer fish moved in. Excellent top water action from shore for a bit over 1.5 hours. Didn't even get sealed once that morning either!

Is this a lone immature eagle or have many others been spotted?

When herring were in greater abundance some runs had a few eagles among the birds of prey....if there are a number of them it could be a sign of more pogies
