Summer Time Bass

Surf casting in the summer time for bass can be hard at times due to the warmer water. I was just wondering what other people have been fishing this time of the year and what some of the successful lures have been. I fish the south side of the cape as well as Nobska and the Vineyard all through the summer. Anyone have any special techniques or lures that have been productive recently?

Find colder water...

Fish at night.

Use live eels.

Sluggos or Surf Hogs, best bet during the summer. Live eels work too.
