I think All Star calls it 1-3 but it will throw more than three. more like a 2-4 and it has backbone. Buy it now while you have the chance.  |

2-4 is the sweet spot, but they throw 1oz storms and light plugs pretty well too. The blank will handle 2-4 no problem.

Most rod companies overrate their blanks. All Star was the exact opposite--they rated them very conservatively. Most if not all of the All Star models will throw an ounce or two more than their max rating, safely and without strain.
