Point Judith Light (Alive & Kicking)

This baby fell for a umbrella rig trolled with wire Sunday evening at the Point Judith Lighthouse. This is the first keeper that I have managed to catch on anything but herring this season.......It measured in at close to 20lbs!

Real nice 179....beauty.

I missed PJ this Sunday due to family committments, but I felt the conditions were ripe for someone to pull a nice keeper there this weekend. You were right on. Glad to see it was you.

What color tube were you trolling and size?

Homerun04,
It was pretty rough conditions out there 2-4' swells but manageable. I got this guy on a Snug Harbor Marina green umbrella rig. I found that green seems to be more consistant than the others, a friend was trolling an orange setup right beside me and got skunked.

PS: Rumor has it that the Block is alive and kicking, some of the charters did very well there this past weekend.
