I am finally going to spend some time fishing this year. I am afraid to say I have only bent a rod twice this season. I guess the gas prices made it seem foolish to be pounding around RI Sound at 35 gallons per hour.
Plus a few bad trips lost me my fishing buddies last year. I now have a couple of new fishing friends to go with and am promising myself to hit it at least twice a week for the rest of the season. I am moving the boat over the Goat Island to make the fishing easier. Clammer knows what a pain in the ass Newport is for fisherman. Anyways I wish you all a great fall. I will post pictures if I cathc anything decent. I have enjoyed reading the posts this summer, between that and watching Guide House I feel like I have been in the thick of things. Tight lines. Duke
