Boats Back in---Problem Solved !!!
What a relief,,,I fixed what i could on Sunday and me and a buddy took her out today. I'm 95% sure the problem was the fuel filter due to the E10 fuel crapping it up. I changed the separator/filter and a small fuel pump filter under the cowling. Fixed the split hose and changed the plugs. I won't worry about the temp sender for now.
She ran smooth as silk went to WOT not a sputter. I was very happy. So happy that we hit a couple of spots and chunked up loads of blues to 10 lbs, some small bass and I released a bass about 38".
Home early now and about ready to leave for Gilette for the STONES concert. So all in all not a bad day.

Van,
Good deal your up and running.
I'm curious how much time did you had on the filters ???
I told my self I would change my filters 1/2 way into the summer I think I will do it this weekend there on the boat ready to go.
I think it's about time for the macks to show around here

once apon a time
in my old fishin Van i had a b#^^^^^&g problem
and determined it was rot in the metal tank...
which i eventually had replaced...
but the thing i found quite useful to have
was those see thru fuel filters on the carb
because in a glance you could tell it needed
servicing...and i'd keep a spare ready to
slap in at a moments notice.

I only would replace the sep/filter before winterize so no chance of water freezing in there. I have never changed it mid season (until now) so IMO it must be due to the E10......
I have never changed the one under the cowl, I don't think I will for many years, the new 10 microns should take care of everything.
