I'm heading up to the nether reaches of NH and doing a canoe trip with the Scouts all weekend......25 miles of the Androscoggin River. Gone until Sunday night.
Methinks I'll be bringing a rod.......maybe get something for the frying pan

Today is my oldest boys 8th birthday, so it'll be the Charlie Horse in Bridgewater tonight (funny years ago, going to the Horse meant a night of drinking at the local meat market, now it for my kid to play video games .. times they are a changing)
I hope to fish from the beach at least once this weekend, but a 8 cu. yds of mulch will take up most of my free time.
I hope someone from here wins the Grady at the OTW / Harpoon ( Harpoon IPA is good stuff)

Heading for my annual trip to Rhode Island!!!
Will fish at Pt. Judith and the Charlestown Breachway!!!
Anybody know if there are any fish around?
I fished the Merrimac River this AM and it was non-stop
for schoolies along with some bigger stripers mixed in!!!
Fish were popping right at high tide til about 3 hours after!!!
I got a 27" on a mambo minnow and missed a bigger one
which I estimated to be 35-36" when I hooked him on a
top water plug for a minute!!!

I've got some stupid new teacher orientation on Saturday. Since I'm a counselor I'm sure it will have absolutely nothing to do with my job. It's mandatory, and I skipped the first one to go fishing. Might try and get my first Rhody trip Sat night. Working on the house Sunday.

Dinner with close friends tonight. Fishing tomorrow night and Sunday and Monday and Tuesday and...and ...and
Another month and the big girls are gone. I use to chase hard in November but the last few years have not been as productive as in the 70's and 90's.
