VS 275

I got to fondle this reel today and what a great reel, Craig basically hung off the end of the rod and the drag is so super strong I almost couldn't hold on anymore. It has the body of a 250 the spool & handle of a 300 I can't wait to beable to get one it is going to be my next reel purchase for sure. only problem is black, silver, or gold?

Bob,
Wait a little before you purchase. I'm test driving a borrowed one now - some "very different" features on this reel including high speed retrieve. I plan on writing a little reveiw of it for SWE.

Ditto that. I own a 150 and a 200.....been saying for nearly 10 years that they ( I ) REALLY need a 175.

Its a sign!

If you fished from a boat, would you rather the 275 or 175?
