Cool FLUKIN

is red hot off Charlestown Beach. Got my limit in an hour and a half this morning. Then on the way in the breachway saw some 20#+ bass in the channel feeding on sand eels. They spooked before I could get the sluggo in front of there noses. Beautiful morning on the water! 179 what were you trolling off N.shoal?

Chris, how deep was the water you were drifting? Hope to get out this weekend, weather permitting

Talking

Bill, no depth finder yet. I was just drifting with the "fleet". They seemed to be in a pretty big area. I'm definately no fluke expert(1st time as a matter of fact ) and I was all over them. 2 head boats were out - 1 at the pink house and the other off Green Hill. Hey, what are the regs for fluke?(18"-5/day I hope!)

Thanks for the report - sounds like a pretty successful trip. I'm planning on fishing Green Hill / Charlestown this weekend. What are you catching them on?

Hope to see out there.

Oliver

Scotch,
I fished last night. Grabbed a bunch of nice blues at the Nebr buoy, then trolled in front of the breachway and grabbed a few bass to 30-32" beautiful night on the water, just no big bass....

I have been trolling a green snug harbor marina umbrella rig! I'll probably switch to tubes real soon though...

Oliver - white bucktail with sandworm - thats all I had! Can't beat a white bucktail! 179-there are sand eels around the B-WAY so the umbrella definately matches!

Thanks Scotch, is there a particular tide you are fishing?

Also, what is a Snug Harbor Marina Umbrella Rig? - is it simply the standard rig with a spoon trailer?

Thanks again guys
