Found in gansett yesterday

This is no "bull" either. I was walking along the rocks yesterday in a mid bay location when I came across what looked to be the lower leg of a large mammal. Had to be a cow, or something of the like. Didn't get any pics, but the hoof was clearly identifiable, as was about 30" of leg. Was cut clean up to where the knee would have been. I just wanted to share that with everyone. If anyone is looking for it, shoot me a pm. True story. Maybe one for the scuppers, sorry John.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole

Definitely a heiffer. About 3-4" in diameter. Maybe discarded off the side of a boat?

I didnt have an Easter Roast to use as shark bait...
did you find the other half of my chain-leader and hook?
I figured since there were seals around, Jaws couldn't be far behind....

Yeah I guess dropping a cow leg out of your plug bag would be far more likely.

I heard you caught him fishing in Bart's cove without permission.

Casey, I was looking for seashells. If anyone wants to know the location of the limb, send me a Pm. Maybe one of you Gansett townies can get a pic of it and post it here for i.d. before the rats get it. Was still pretty fresh.

Reminds me of the joke about the farmer with a 3 legged pig.
A tourist asked why the pig had only 3 legs.

The farmers reply was "A pig this good you don't eat all at once!"
