Got her home, made a few minor adjustments and little lube to the recoil and got it running this morning. Seems to run pretty strong. My son is thrilled! We will probably take it apart this winter, clean her up and replace what is necessary and put a fresh coat of paint on her...should last another 20 years easy.

It is a 1980 model (the forth and fifth letters in the model number indicate the year "CS". Found a brand new 1980 factory service manual online as well for this for 17 bucks...

Again, thanks a lot!

Jim

I hope you have a good time with it. I went all arond Pleasent Bay last winter with that motor. The thing is my 14ft carolina draws less water than a dingy with a 2hp?
