setting the hook
The dreams are getting really bad. Had a dream last night that the bass were in. I get an awesome hit and set the hook hard.
I woke up so pumped, then looked out the window.
Also had a dream that there were a bunch of posts on S-B saying "they're here"
I have the hook setting dream all year, even during the season. But this time of year they really get bad. Maybe I should try freshwater, just to hold me over.
Ice fishing, a little Scotch and some bait. Or maybe just Scotch on the rocks.

been there
I've also had days in the winter where I've been extra tired.... started day-dreaming about fishing... started to visual the strike on a topwater plug.... {this is all during work now}... and actually said 'I'm on!' out loud. ... I think I need pills.

You were dreaming and screaming at some guy dave, to keep the boat steady while you lipped it for clammer...
No fishing dreams ever..
Then there's the setting the hook in your sleep!!

We could probably write a pretty funny book of fishing dreams and snafus around family members ...
... especially during the height of the off season when cabin fever sets in ... or when the realization that the end is approaching and you are muttering aimlessly to yourself in the corner that fishing will still be good from a few more weeks or at least a month ...

Bruce,
Mikey has them all the time!
Too bad he's being so responsible right now, or he'd tell ya.
Later,
Rick
