Pogey Oil ....

A quart sprung a leak and emptied in my finished basement.. Now when I look at my plugs I get the smell of the sea ... low tide ..

That stuff is deadly/ nasty if it spills!

I treat it around my place like I'm handling Nuclear waste-- VERY carefully!

You will need to move or burn the place down.

I hate that stuff. I will not have it in my house and don't care for it on board the boat. Maybe in a little squirt bottle with a cap, but if you spill a gallon of that on your boat...just burn the boat and swim home. It is a friggin nightmare esp if it is rough. Your better off with ice skates and peton's...then with non-skid boots...and it gets into everything. My wife wanted to throw away my breathable rain gear that was soaked with that stuff... it is plain nasty. IMO its not worth the hassle. Mix it in chum while you are making it but don't bring it in a boat and don't fill a plug with it and put the plug in your plugbag everything turns into a grezzzy mess.

Thanks for prayers ... wiped it up and threw eveything away it touched.. It ran down the wall ,,,rough sawn ship lap boards ,, I hope its not inside.. Also ran onto floor ,,,small square slate and grout joints .. I got paper towels with cleaner with bleach in it ,,spread out .. Had the container a couple of years making stink plugs ... The plastic container is thick like a motor oil container .. I didn't see a hole in it but obviously there is ..

That stuff has a life of it's own and it's evil. Reminds me to get my potion outa the house. Good luck with that stuff, if you win tell me how it's done. You might need ghost busters.

Any liquid left ,try kitty litter to absorb it, then vacume.

The other thing ya might try Tagga, are those enzmes to dissolve pet odors, if it kills cat urine maybe it will work on fish oil. Try callin the company and see.

My condolences.

Don't waste an opportunity, roll all your plugs in it and let them soak up the "essence". Got to look at this positively.

Why even try.........
