Transducer wire

I managed to drive a screw through my ff transducer wire. Anyone know how to fix? It's a Garmin 120. I think the wire is a small coax.

Most of the ones I've installed say "do not splice." So I don't know if you can fix it or you have to buy a new one.

One of the dangers of trying to fix it is you can short out the hole unit. Get the repalcement its cheap insurance when moisture and wiring are involved.
