new spot
theres a beach near my house and im gonna start surfcasting there..... its all sand, gets deep quickly, has strong rip tides, and only a mile away from some rocks, any suggestions on what to use to find out if there are bass there??

Start on top. Danny, spook, pencil popper by day.......danny, needle by night. If nothing, go deeper with plastic lip, slopehead, pikie, darter, bottle, or metal/rubber. Still nothing, bounce bottom with a jig or weighted rubber. Still nothing.......put an eel out there and hang on. If you are on the Vineyard you should find fish for the next 2 months at night or daybreak.
