West Falmouth Ramp

Looking for some info. on a ramp. I was doing some shore fishing last night and came across a ramp in West Falmouth harbor at the intersection of Old Dock Road and Nashawena street. Older concrete and gravel ramp with parking down the street across the tracks in a dirt lot. No signs indicating residents only, sticker, members ect... Does anyone know if this is a public ramp?

Caught the biggest blue I've ever seen last night in that area. If it were a striper I would have kept it for the grill.

It's a public ramp. Falmouth does not charge anything for use of any public ramp in town. Nice people aren't we?

SHALLOW. That ramp is tough for big boats. High tide to 1/2 for anything over 16 feet long.

Southwest/norwest winds this place is tough.

Why even try.........

Thanks for the reply Flaptail. Should have added that I have a 20' boat. It was dark when I went by. Is there room to leave the boat on the shore if I launch alone or with the kids? Didn't notice a dock. Didn't get to see much at all for that matter. lol
