Anyone get one? I had one shot at one , got a hookup and it wrapped around the motor and lost it. FishHawk

a couple of weeks ago.Off great i.[hyannis] in the 9lb range.loads of fish in pods.looooong casts did the trick, most of the pods dropped out at appx.80' from the boat no matter what you did[drift,no depth finder running, motor running on/ off, etc.most were taken on gummy minnows no bigger than 1&1/2". used a 9wt w/clear int. Rio line 9' leader w/12lb. floro tippet.Little "yellow eyed devils" were in the mix so it cost us a lot of flies[in numbers].

Albies are MUCH faster than bass, you'll know it when you hook one. I've caught quite a few, but not in recent years. One of these days...

First one. Last week on MV in Edgartown from the shore on the fly.
What a blast! Probably be haunting the south shore for another shot this weekend.

It is my own reel "Colton" Remeber I had a post one here a back in the spring. "Name my fly rods" That trip was actually to test a couple new designs. Nothing like Albies and Bonito to make sure things are working right
