Archery opens soon..

anyone have any good things happening in there areas. I have a lot of good signs as in the # of deer but havent seen my monster buck from last year. i know he is still around since the guy whose property
i hunt has seen him earlier in SEptember. Im psyched.

helped a friend cut open the stomach of a doe (archery).

chock full of acorns. bumper crop this year (the acorns).



been a little too hot to hunt for my tastes, though.

Going to be tough over here.
Lost a lot of prime oak trees . Food source is going to change or they are going to travel out of the area.

Bambi came so close to getting the point tonight. If I only had 1 more minute of light.
I lifted my bow and just couldn't make out the sights, but I know were he sleeps now.

I shot a nice 6 point buck last night 153Lbs when we aged it I found out it was only 1.5 years old... I was shocked. In a way I wish I could have seen it when he reached 4.5 years he would have been a beast. The little bugger snapped my arrow into 3 pieces but at least I found the broad head.
