first keeper ever on a wooden plug
i finally did it. i finally caught my first keeper on a wooden plug. it's a tagger needle? 43" 25.5 lbs. my best fish ever from shore..

nice catch on a needle.
that about equals any bass I ever caught on a needle.
That plug looks like something KarlF made based on a Stetzko Sr., that Tagger makes everything, he is a machine.
I hope you get one twice as big

Good eye Slip ... thats exactly what that is ... Knocked off Karl F who knocked off Tony Stetzko Sr. .. Made that a few years ago .. Your lucky to have landed that fish .. I believe that plug has Mustad (fish dropping) hooks on it .. swap them out to some 3/0 VMC ....4x ,,,even 6x if you'll be bumping into more large .. Good for you George ... many more ...

funny you would say the eddie. i could feel her twisting and shaking that plug out of her. i could feel it slipping.... when i finally landed her, the hole where the hook penetrated the lip was big enough to put my finger through it..... had she fought just a tad bit more i'd be talking bout the one that got away.
